Podcast: The Wine Bodhisattva

Bodhisattva in American English

(ˌboudəˈsʌtvə) Buddhism. a person who has attained prajna, or Enlightenment, but who postpones Nirvana in order to help others to attain Enlightenment.

Who communicates more with YOU, sommeliers, or the wine companies that make the wine you drink? I don't see many billboards and case-stacks put up by sommeliers. I've never run into a sommelier in a grocery store. Not too many liquor stores, either.

On this episode of The Drunken Sommelier Podcast, I explore this problem. My goal is to create a healthier and more frequent dialogue between us wine-ies and the wine consumer who just wants a good bottle to accompany a great evening, afternoon, or morning, for that matter. I'm postponing Nirvana so I can help others get closer to Enlightenment.
