If you weren't aware, we dropped a fresh-baked podcast today. We're really excited about it.
What's it all about? Well, it's funny you should ask.
As you know, despite the multitude of spelling errors and grammatical licensing taken on in the blog here, I am a great fan of the written word. When a person reads, there's a tone that sometimes cannot be replicated in a spoken format. And vice-versa.
And so, we've added a podcast to our repertoire. Episode #1 is available now, and it's available right here on this website under the PODCAST tab.
We're going to riff on the same types of subject that we do here. We're going to dive deep into the human condition that we are a part of, and explore how it affects our relationship with wine. We're going to discover and expose the light of a host of different wines and personalities, all with the goal of growing a community of people who are open-minded and willing to experiment with wine as a means of learning and enjoying it.
You wouldn't travel to France for a Quarter Pounder with Cheese™. You wouldn't travel to Italy to get a Grande Half-Sweet Almond Milk Frappuccino from Starbucks™. And you certainly would not go to Greece to see My Big Fat Greek Wedding™ in theatres.
And you wouldn't come into this wacky world of wine as a would-be enthusiast expecting to see things you already know and love.
It's about growth. It's about putting yourself out there to experience new things.
Anthony Bourdain said it best, may his beautiful soul be resting easy. Our bodies our not temples.
They are amusement parks.
Our podcast is just another ride at our own personal wine DisneyLand™, ready to amuse those senses.
Let's get after it. Episode #1, if you were too excited at the top of the page, is now available RIGHT HERE.
Thank you all for your continued support and appreciation of that thing that we love so much:
